The final series of Celebrity Big Brother is to have a theme of “hell lies in others” this year and will make life more difficult for the housemates than it ever has done before.

The final version of the Celebrity series to appear on Channel 4 will begin on Sunday January 3rd and the experience is to consist of “the most unpredictable and unforgettable weeks of [the celebrities'] lives”.

In a statement, executive producer Shirley Jones said: “This is no holiday camp for pampered personalities; Celebrity Big Brother won’t be leaving the limelight quietly.”

Stars rumoured to be taking part are rapper MC Hammer, 80s singer and DJ Boy George, Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss and Baywatch actress Pamela Anderson.
