Mel B has allegedly split from her film producer husband Stephen Belafonte.
The Spice Girl is said to be in the process of moving back to the UK and is talking to lawyers in LA about a divorce.
Speaking to The Mirror, Stephen said: “Dude, it’s over. Mel’s coming back to the UK soon – but I won’t be coming with her. There’s been problems lately. I don’t know what’s happening.”
A friend of the pop star said: “They’ve not been happy for a long time and there’s been rowing. Mel’s been talking about getting out. They’re still talking to see if things can be worked out.
“But she’s making plans to come back to the UK on a more permanent basis. Stephen hasn’t been mentioned as joining her and has been consulting lawyers.
“Part of the problem is jealousy. They are both livid when the other one gets attention from another person. They constantly want to know where the other one is. It’s been an ongoing problem right from the start.”

Geri Halliwell is reportedly disappointed by the backlash over her recent appearance as a guest judge at the X Factor auditions.
The Spice Girl stood in for pregnant Dannii Minogue at the Glasgow auditions and was allegedly booed throughout the day and at one point walked out.
A source told Now: “She was really excited when Simon Cowell asked her to guest judge. She’d expressed interest in this role ages ago and seemed to be pinning everything on it. But her appearance turned into a disaster and she’s gutted.
The source continued: “She tried playing the baddie judge, but only Simon Cowell has the charisma to get away with that. She made too many ill-thought out comments and failed to gauge the audience’s mood.”
The pop star had hoped to be offered a permanent position as a judge on the US version of the show.

The Spice Girls are planning to launch a TV talent search for stars of a musical based themselves.
The girls recently met up with Geri hinting that they have been discussing future projects.
It is said that the format will be similar to shows like How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria and the X Factor.
A source told The Sun: “This is an idea which appeals to all of the original members.
“It’s a fantastic new way to broaden out the Spice franchise and cash in on their personalities, their story and their songs.”
Geri, Victoria, Mel C, Mel B and Emma will sit on the judging panel and audition potential stars for the new musical.
Victoria has experience as a guest judge on American Idol and Mel C begins a run in the West End musical Blood Brothers next week. Their manager Simon Fuller also owns the rights to the Idol franchise.
The source added: “The girls would have to work intensely on a TV show for a short period of time but they then launch a musical which could run for months or even years.
“It will take on a life of its own. The concept could even be replicated in other countries. The sky is the limit with this one.”

“Emma does have great dancing experience because of her time in the Spice Girls and did very well on Strictly.”
It is rumoured that former Stricly Come Dancing judge Arlene Phillips has also been asked to judge the show.

The Spice Girls are discussing reuniting for a second time, reports suggest.
Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm and Melanie Brown enjoyed a meal together in London last week and were allegedly in contact with Victoria Beckham throughout the whole evening.
Speaking to television show This Morning, Geri Halliwell said: “We are friends first and foremost. Obviously a career and music evolved through that friendship I think. Whatever happens afterwards is a bonus.
“We always talk about creative plans. Right – now, I’ll be honest, we are gathering information about a possibility, but I don’t like to… when you are evolving a plan, you don’t want to share it with the world.”
The girls split in 1998 after Geri left the group to go solo but reunited in 2007 for a world tour.
