X Factor judge Dannii Minogue has claimed that she has nothing more than a working relationship with Cheryl Cole.

However, despite numerous reports that the pair are bitter rivals Dannii insists that this is not the case.

The Australian singer told the News of the World: ”We’re colleagues, not friends. I don’t have her phone number.

“I don’t ring her up. We don’t go shopping or have dinner together.”

Dannii also commented on Cheryl’s fashion sense: “I know Cheryl has two stylists and I have none. I put a lot of work into it. I style myself. I choose all my outfits.”

Dannii insists that she and Cheryl get on, saying: “She’s really nice to me. We have a laugh. People think there’ll be a drama between two women but we don’t care about that. It’s not in my nature to be jealous.”

Dannii Minogue has apologised for comments she made about X Factor contestant Danyl Johnson’s sexuality on last night’s show.

Danyl altered the lyrics of a Jennifer Hudson song so he was singing about a woman rather than a man.

Following his performance, Dannii said: “If you’re to believe everything you read in the papers, then you didn’t need to change the gender references in the song.”

The comment was met with anger from Simon Cowell who praised the performance.

A statement on Dannii’s official blog said: “Dannii is mortified if her comments have been misinterpreted as she has always been hugely supportive of the gay and bisexual community for her entire career.”

The comments are said to have not offended Danyl.

Dannii Minogue has admitted that she was addicted to Botox.

The X-Factor judge blames her problems on depression and the stress of her sister falling ill with cancer.

In an interview with The Sun, she said: “My sister was sick, then my best friend died soon after – I felt I’d been hit by a wave. 

“I couldn’t deal with the stress. I couldn’t deal with having to look at my face.”

The singer admits that at first Botox was just “a bit of fun” but in the end became a “necessity”.

Dannii claimes that she is now over her troubles and is happy in both her professional and personal life: ”I guess at my age I have to start thinking about babies at some time.  

“But to be honest, I’m just enjoying being so wildly in love [with Kris Smith] and being so happy. He is the one.”
