Robbie Williams has revealed that he is still addicted to prescription drugs.

The singer was recently criticised for a bizarre performance on the X Factor in which he appeared agitated and hyperactive.

Speaking toThe Mirror, the star said: “You get suicidal when you come off them. There’s a buzzing, and weird things start happening. It’s very scary.”

The singer recently went through rehab to beat problems with prescription pain killers.

Robbie Williams has already recorded new material with Take That, reports suggest.

The singer performed with his former bandmates at a charity concert in London earlier this week but had previously claimed that recording new music with them was only a possibility.

However, The Sun quotes him as saying: “Oh sod it, we’ve been in and the songs are absolutely amazing.”

Music industry insiders have claimed that it would not be possible to release any new songs as Robbie and Take That are signed to different record labels.

The star has cut the price of his album Reality Killed The Video Star as he battles against JLS for the number one spot in the album charts tomorrow.
