Lady GaGa has been told that she cannot have lambs on stage during her X Factor performance this weekend.

The American singer is known for her quirky style but health and safety bosses stepped in and put a stop to her plans, reports The Mirror.

A source said: “She is always way out there with her costumes and dance routines. But not even [Simon] was prepared for what she had in mind. He thought the animals request was a joke but then realised it was Lady GaGa.

“Simon is an animal lover and wasn’t against having the lambs running around, but he said no because of health and safety.”

GaGa is set to perform new single Bad Romance during Sunday’s show.

Lady Gaga’s new single Bad Romance premiered on UK radio this morning.

The song is to appear on new album The Fame Monster, a re-package of The Fame with eight new tracks.
