Peter Andre has revealed that he is not fazed by his ex-wife’s marriage to Alex Reid and that his children are his main priority.

Speaking to the News of the World, the singer said: “I wasn’t upset because of the wedding, absolutely not. To me it was the best closure I could have asked for.

“Once she became Mrs Reid it’s not my business anymore. I stepped away from the circus a long time ago. Whatever is to do with the kids will be my business.”

On his tearful interview with Sky News, he said: “Watching a video of Dwight Yorke having a go at me on TV, which I was totally not prepared for, triggered off an emotion.

“People were coming up to me today saying, ‘Just think the best thing to come out of this marriage is two lovely children’. I said, ‘No, three lovely children’. That is the way it is. I love Harvey very much and always will.”

Peter added that he is not looking to meet anyone special at the moment and any future relationships will remain private.

Shane Richie is to return to EastEnders later in the year as Alfie Moon, it has been confirmed.

Shane last appeared in the soap in 2005 before leaving for America with his on-screen wife Kat.

He is due to begin filming in the autumn and will appear on television towards the end of the year.

In a statement, he said: “It’s an honour and a privilege to be asked back to the iconic series of EastEnders which is at the top of its game! I’m looking forward to finding out what Alfie has been up to over the last few years but more importantly – what the future has in store for him.”

It has not yet been confirmed whether Alfie will be returning alone or with wife Kat.

Katie Price has admitted that she did not warn former husband Peter Andre of her Las Vegas wedding to Alex Reid.

Speaking to OK! magazine, the glamour model said: “It’s none of his business. Why would I tell him? I don’t have contact with him unless it’s about the kids.”

The added that she planned to have further children with her cage fighter husband and that breaking up with him after leaving I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! was a mistake.

She said: “I have to be strong for myself, though. I’ve got kids. It won’t happen again. All Alex wants is to be good at what he does, have a family, settle down – and I’m grateful that we’re both going to have fantastic careers.

“[He has] made me realise what’s important in life. He’s so grounded. Fame does not faze him. He wants to be with me. I can be myself 100% with Alex.”

Simon Cowell banned X Factor twins John and Edward from becoming Celebrity Big Brother housemates, reports suggest.

The pair were keen to appear on the Channel 4 reality show and were supported by their manager Louis Walsh but Simon Cowell had final say and put a stop to the appearance.

A show source said: ”We were going to have them in the house for the first week, because they had other commitments. The boys were keen and so was Louis, but Cowell put his foot down.

“He may have berated them for weeks on the X Factor but when it came to them appearing on C4, he said, ‘They belong to us’.”

Jedward appeared on Big Brother’s Big Mouth and Big Brother’s Little Brother throughout last week.

A “mad and manic” Katie Price reportedly demanded to see Peter Andre during an unplanned visit to his Brighton home earlier this week.

According to the Sunday Mirror, the glamour model turned up unannounced, screaming: “Where’s Pete?”.

A source told the paper: ”Katie just showed up unannounced. She was mad and manic, and kept screaming, ‘Where’s Pete?’ I don’t know what it was about – just that it wasn’t about their children, who were with Pete by prior agreement. But she should not have turned up like that without an appointment.

“And when they told her he wasn’t there, she ­demanded they let her in to check. Someone got Pete on the phone to tell him what was going on, and he ordered the staff to get rid of her. She has become the ex from hell.”

Peter Andre is said to be “stunned” by his ex-wife’s behaviour and is apparently angry and embaressed for his staff.

In a statement, a spokesman for Katie said: “Katie did go round to Pete’s on Monday, but it was to pick up a passport for Princess Tiaamii. She was going to Manchester on Tuesday and she ­needed ID, which Pete had, for Tiaamii for the flight to Manchester.”

Kerry Katona has allegedly been on a massive £140,000 spending spree despite being bankrupt and on the verge of losing two houses.

The former Atomic Kitten spent the cash on clothes, trips to the spa and alcohol, reports the News of the World.

Kerry allegedly faces eviction after failing to keep up with the £2,450 monthly mortgage repayments on her Cheshire home. A team of accountants have been employed to deal with her financial issues and have been able to organise £8,000 a month to help Kerry.

A source said: ”The £140,000 was a final lump sum from the accountants and that is her pot of money completely gone now. She hasn’t earned much for months but in court on Wednesday she promised to start paying her mortgage.

“Kerry has had months to sort this out but instead she has stuck her head in the sand and refused to pay. Now she actually hasn’t got the money to pay it and if she doesn’t find it from somewhere the mortgage company will send in the bailiffs.”

Deloitte, the firm dealing with Kerry’s finances, have said in a statement: “Whether somebody is bankrupt or not they must pay their mortgage or face losing their home.”

Celebrity Big Brother is to return for future series following the success of this year’s show, reports suggest.

Both Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother are to finish on Channel 4 this year but show insiders are claiming that producers have been forced to reconsider following increased ratings this year.

Speaking to the Daily Star, a source said: “There is no way this is the end. It may be rested a year or two, but it will definitely be back.

“The ratings and the buzz about this year’s series has been too big for it to be axed forever.”

However, the non-celebrity version of Big Brother will still be discontinued. The source added: “Viewers have lost interest in the original version. It goes on too long and is struggling to add anything new year on year.”

Davina McCall has also called for the celebrity version to continue claiming that the show has still “got legs.”

Cheryl Cole has turned down a place as a judge on the US version of the X Factor, reports suggest.

Simon Cowell recently announced that he is leaving American Idol to take the X Factor to the states and despite begging her to join him Cheryl has refused turning down a huge fee in the process.

Speaking to The People, Cheryl’s mum Joan said: “No, she’s not going to America, she’s staying here. She will not be going there for that.”

Rumours have been circulating that she is planning to start a family with her footballer husband Ashley Cole.

A source said: “Cheryl is really in favour of working mums but knows that would be quite hard to do in America.

“She also wouldn’t be able to bear leaving Ashley for too long – not because she’s worried he’ll cheat but because she doesn’t like not being with him.”
